Muverse claimed that it held a license from the US National Futures Association (NFA) and provided an ID number 0545593. However, we have verified that Muverse is not an NFA member and thus not subject to the NFA’s oversight. The NFA ID number in BASIC alone is not indicative of NFA membership and oversight. And non-Members who are exempt from CFTC registration are given NFA ID numbers for tracking purposes only. More importantly, the webiste (“https://mu-verse.com/”) is currently shut down. Numerous cases suggest that scammers often disappear by disabling their websites and applications. This is a red flag. In essence, Muverse is not regulated by any governing body. Entrusting this broker with investors’ funds is highly risky, as there are no legal protections in place to safeguard the funds.
